Speculation and Vacancy Tax Declaration Deadline Tomorrow

Despite the COVID-19 crisis, BC has refused to extend the deadline to complete the 2019 Speculation and Vacancy Tax (SVT) declaration, which remains due on March 31, 2020. The consequences of failing to declare include a potential assessment of the tax. The declaration can be made online at gov.bc.ca/spectax.
