Taxpayer Representation
Our Taxpayer Representation group has the knowledge and experience to assist our clients in resolving all manner of disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincial tax authorities successfully and efficiently.
We work with individuals and businesses to manage the flow of information from the earliest days of an audit through to the conclusion of the appeal process. The Canada Revenue Agency is increasingly using its administrative powers to compel taxpayers to disclose information. We work to ensure that the rights of our clients are observed and protected during that process.
We have assisted many clients in bringing unreported income to the attention of the Canada Revenue Agency through the voluntary disclosure program. We use our skill and knowledge to ensure that our clients avoid the risk of prosecution and enjoy the most favourable result possible. Of course, all communications with our clients is protected by solicitor-client privilege.
