COVID-19 Tax Update: Tax Court of Canada cancels in-person judicial sittings through January 15, 2021

On November 26, 2020, the Tax Court of Canada cancelled all in-person judicial sittings scheduled between November 30, 2020 and January 15, 2021 (other than select sittings underway which conclude the week of November 30th). All parties affected by this cancellation will be contacted directly by the Registry.

Conference calls are not affected by this cancellation and will proceed as scheduled. The Court and all Registries remain open, except the Hamilton office.

The Court is expected to reassess this decision during the week of January 4, 2021 and release further information at that time.
