Melissa Ward is the Director of  Human Resources and Operations for Thorsteinssons LLP.

Melissa joined the firm in 2024, initially overseeing human resources for the Toronto office. She now leads the firm’s human resources and operations functions, with responsibility for setting strategic direction across both areas.

Prior to joining Thorsteinssons, Melissa held a range of roles in human resources and operations at both national full-service and boutique firms, where she supported lawyers and staff across a variety of functions. She also brings experience from technology startups, where she established HR functions and supported organizational growth, culture development, and workplace initiatives.
