Leonard graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law (J.D. 2015) and is currently a partner practicing in the firm’s Toronto office.
He previously performed extensively as a concert pianist and attended the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University where he was awarded the Performer’s Certificate and was named a Founder’s Scholar.
During his time at law school, Leonard served as President of the Tax Law Society, Executive of the Business Law Society and as a Mentor in the Peer Mentorship Program. He has also worked at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and as a human rights case worker. Leonard was selected by Pro Bono Students Canada to participate in the Tax Advocacy Project and has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada. He is also fluent in Cantonese.
