Alexander is an associate practicing in the firm’s Vancouver office.
Alexander focuses on tax litigation and dispute resolution from audit through to court. He has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada and Federal Court.
Alexander obtained his Juris Doctor from Robson Hall at the University of Manitoba in 2022. While in law school, he made the Dean’s Honour List each year and was awarded numerous prizes, including: the Gold Medal in Business Law, the highest standing in Income Tax Law and Policy, and the highest standing in Taxation of Trusts and Estates. Alexander was also part of the winning team at the Bowman National Tax Moot in 2022.
Prior to joining Thorsteinssons, Alexander was a judicial law clerk at the Tax Court of Canada and worked as legal counsel at the Department of Justice in Tax Law Services.
