Steven Cook received his B.Comm. and LL.B. degrees from the University of British Columbia. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1982 and the Ontario Bar in 1992.
Steve has lectured at the Faculty of Law at the University of British Columbia and in the M.B.A. programme offered by the Faculty of Commerce at U.B.C. He has presented numerous papers on tax-related matters for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, is the Editor of the Taxation Materials for the Professional Legal Training Centre of the Law Society of British Columbia and is a former President of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (B.C. Division).
Steve’s practice focuses on corporate and international tax planning, offshore structures, representation, and civil and criminal tax litigation.
