Kristina is a partner with Thorsteinssons LLP and practices in the firm’s Toronto office. Ms. Soutar received her B.A. from the University of Toronto, her LL.B. from McGill University and her LL.M. from the London School of Economics. Kristina is a member of the Law Societies of Upper Canada (1999), England and Wales (solicitor, 2001) and British Columbia (2003).

Kristina’s practice includes domestic and international corporate and personal tax planning, private corporations and trusts.

Kristina is a member of the Executive of the Taxation Section of the Ontario Bar Association, and is an editor of the Section’s newsletter, Taxation Law. Kristina is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation. Kristina has published articles in the Ontario Bar Association’s Taxation Law, the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Canadian Tax Highlights and in Tax Litigation (Federated Press).
