Ian is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Tax Planning Journal (Federated Press) and is the author of Taxation of Canadian Mining (Carswell). A former Adjunct Professor of corporate taxation at the Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia, Ian regularly contributes to tax related publications and conferences. He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University (1985) and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia (1988). He is a member of both the British Columbia Bar (1989) and the Ontario Bar (1999).
