Alexander Demner completed a combined degree program at the University of Calgary, obtaining a B.A. (With Distinction) in International Relations and a second B.A. (With Distinction) in Political Science, before receiving his J.D. at Queen’s University. He was the recipient of several awards throughout his undergraduate studies and at law school, including the Leipnik Award in International Legal Studies and the Reuben Wells Leonard Prize in European Union Law, and graduated law school as a member of the Dean’s Honour List.
Alexander practices in several different areas of taxation, and is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and Canadian Bar Association. After completing his articles at a large national firm, Alexander was called to the British Columbia bar in 2011.
